RITUAL WREATHS ACCORDING TO ARCHAEOLOGICAL AND ETHNOGRAPHIC SOURCES OF GERMANY AND RUSSIA

The article deals with the problems of using wreaths in the rituals, rituals and customs of the Germans, in Germany and in Russia, in antiquity and modernity. The information contained in the archaeological and ethnographic sources collected in Germany and Russia is given. The article concludes that the reason for the long-term preservation of customs and rituals associated with wreaths in Siberia is the preservation of the archaic in the conditions of long-term isolation of German groups from those processes of development of national culture that took place in Germany.
