CHRONOGRAPH OF THE SCIENTIFIC EVENT

The first five seminars had the status of the All-Russian Scientific Seminar, from the sixth to the fourteenth - the status of the International Scientific Seminar, and from the fifteenth it became known as the International Scientific Symposium. The first seminar was held within the framework of the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference "Regional Problems of Interethnic Relations in Russia", which worked on November 21 - 23, 1993 in Omsk and was co-chaired by A.I. Kazannik, V. A. Tishkov and N.A. Tomilov. The meeting of the seminar took place on October 23, 25 scientists from eight cities of Russia took part in its work, and V.A. Shnirelman (Moscow) gave a talk on ethno-archaeology.


The second seminar was held on November 23, 1994 within the framework of the All-Russian scientific conference "Archaeological microdistricts of Western Siberia", the chairman of the organizing committee was V.I. Matyushchenko. The texts and abstracts of the seminar reports were published for the first time. The third seminar was held on November 15–16, 1995 in Omsk as an independent scientific event. Omsk organizers decided to hold the fourth seminar in Novosibirsk. It took place there on November 12 - 14, 1996. And then those seminars and later symposiums were almost always held in other cities of Russia, as well as in the cities of Kazakhstan and Ukraine. This practice pursues the tasks of discussing scientific topics at the intersection of archeology and ethnography (as well as at the intersection of these two disciplines with other sciences) with scientists from different regions and scientific centers, consolidating Russian and foreign scientists dealing with ethnoarchaeological topics discussed in the symposium, approbating the results of scientific research by a group of Omsk archaeologists, ethnographers and ethnoarchaeologists.


The fifth seminar was held within the framework of the Second Congress of Ethnographers and Anthropologists of Russia (Chairmen of the Organizing Committee of the Congress - R. G. Kuzeev and V. A. Tishkov) June 1 - 5, 1997 in Ufa. The sixth International seminar was held October 15 - 17, 1998 in St. Petersburg. The seventh seminar took place on June 8 - 11, 1999 in Moscow within the framework of the Third Congress of Ethnographers and Anthropologists of Russia (Chairmen of the Organizing Committee of the Congress - M.N. Guboglo and V.A. Tishkov). The eighth seminar was held on September 15 - 18, 2000 in Vladivostok. The ninth seminar was held on September 20 - 23, 2001 in Nalchik within the framework of the IV Congress of Ethnographers and Anthropologists of Russia (Chairmen of the Organizing Committee of the Congress - Kh.M.Dumanov and V.A. Tishkov). The tenth seminar worked on September 9-14, 2002 in Khanty-Mansiysk together with the Northern Archaeological Congress there (Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Congress - AV Filippenko). The eleventh seminar was held on June 9 - 12, 2003 in Omsk within the framework of the V Congress of Ethnographers and Anthropologists of Russia (Chairmen of the Organizing Committee of the Congress - L.K. Polezhaev, V. A. Tishkov and N.A. Tomilov).
The seminar first went to foreign countries in 2004, when it was held twelfth in a row on September 23-25 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The thirteenth seminar worked on October 20 - 21, 2005 in Omsk, the fourteenth  - October 18 - 20, 2006 in Krasnoyarsk, the fifteenth as a symposium on May 21 - 24, 2007 in Odessa, Ukraine, XVI - 14 - October 16, 2008 in Novosibirsk, XVII - September 9 - 10, 2009 in Omsk, XVIII - October 6 - 8, 2010 in Kazan.


The XIX Symposium was held on September 27 - 30, 2011 in Omsk within the framework of the International Scientific Congress "Ethnic History and Culture of the Turkic Peoples of Eurasia" (Chairmen of the Organizing Committee of the Congress - A.P. Derevianko, I. A. Prozorova and N.A. Tomilov). And the twentieth symposium was held in May 2013 in Irkutsk. The twenty-first Symposium was held on October 6-8, 2015 in Barnaul on the basis of the Altai State University. The twenty-second Symposium worked from September 18 to 21, 2018 in Pavlodar (Republic of Kazakhstan) at the Margulan Center / Margulan Center of the Pavlodar State Pedagogical University.

ANNIVERSARY EVENTS
Almost every seminar-symposium was devoted to anniversaries associated with scientists of the 18th - early 21st centuries, who made a significant contribution to the study of archaeological, ethnographic and ethnoarchaeological topics, and especially to the study of scientific issues at the intersection of archeology and ethnography. FINANCIAL SECURITY

The work of the seminars-symposia was facilitated by many universities and research institutions - the organizers of these forums. Financial support was provided by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (1996, 1999 - 2002, 2004 - 2006, 2013), the Russian Humanitarian Science Foundation (1997, 1998, 2000, 2001), the Open Society Institute of the Soros Foundation (2001). ), Scientific Councils of the Federal Target Program "Integration" (1999, 2000), Republican Integrated Research Program "Peoples of Russia: Revival and Development" (1998), Government of the Omsk Region (2003, 2011), Government Republic of Tatarstan (2010), Ministry of Education and Science of Russia (2015).
Among Omsk institutions, the permanent organizers of the seminar-symposium are the Dostoevsky Omsk Satae University, where the research laboratory of ethnoarchaeology at the Department of Ethnography and Museum Studies has been existing for many years (since November 2013 it has been the Department of Ethnology, Anthropology, Archeology and Museology), the Omsk Laboratory of Archeology and Ethnography and Museology Omsk branch of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (until 2018 - the Omsk branch of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, until 2006 - the Omsk branch of the Joint Institute of History, Philology and Philosophy of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences), which has an intersectoral group on ethnoarchaeology and the Siberian branch of the Russian Research Institute of Cultural and natural heritage named after D.S. Likhachev (until 2014 - the Siberian branch of the Russian Institute of Cultural Studies of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation).

JUBILEE SYMPOSIUM

The organizers of the XX International Scientific Symposium "Integration of Archaeological and Ethnographic Research", dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of M.A. Castren and the 85th anniversary of the birth of R.G. Kuzeev, included the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Novosibirsk), the Irkutsk State Technical University, the Siberian Military State Academy of Education (Irkutsk), the Irkutsk State University, the University of Aberdeen (Aberdeen, UK). The organizing committee of the symposium was headed by Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences V.I. Molodin, professors D. D. Anderson, N. A. Tomilov, A.V., Kharinskiy, deputy chairmen of the organizing committee, associate professors M.A. Korusenko, E. A. Lipnina, scientific secretaries associate professors A. V. Tetenkin and S. S. Tikhonov.
By the beginning of the symposium, its materials were published in two volumes, which included 162 articles - texts of reports. During the work of the forum itself, 90 reports of scientists from Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, Denmark, Kazakhstan, Poland, Russia, USA, Finland, France and Sweden were heard and discussed.

XXI SYMPOSIUM "INTEGRATION OF ARCHAEOLOGICAL AND ETHNOGRAPHIC RESEARCH", DEDICATED TO THE 200TH ANNIVERSARY OF A.F. MIDDENDORF AND THE 130TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE BIRTH OF S.I. RUDENKO (BARNAUL, 2015).

The organizers of the twenty-first International Scientific Symposium "Integration of Archaeological and Ethnographic Research", dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of A.F. Middendorf and the 130th anniversary of the birth of S.I. Rudenko born A.F. Middendorf and the 130th anniversary of the birth of S.I. Rudenko included the Omsk Branch of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Omsk Scientific Center of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and the Dostoevsky  Omsk State University (Omsk, Russia), Altai State University (Barnaul, Russia), Irkutsk State Technical University (Irkutsk, Russia), Pavlodar State University (Pavlodar, Kazakhstan), Nanjing University (Nanjing, People's Republic of China), Khovd State University (Khovd, Mongolia).
The bureau of the organizing committee included its chairmen, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences A.P. Derevianko (Barnaul, Novosibirsk), Professor, Doctor of Historical Sciences N.A. Tomilov (Omsk). The co-chairs of the organizing committee were Professor, Doctor of Historical Sciences A.A. Tishkin (Barnaul), Candidate of Historical Sciences M.A. Korusenko (Omsk). The duties of deputy chairmen of the organizing committee were performed by associate professor, doctor of historical sciences S.P. Grushin (Barnaul), candidate of historical sciences K.N. Tikhomirov (Omsk). The scientific secretaries were candidates of historical sciences: N.N. Seregin (Barnaul) and M.N. Tikhomirova (Omsk), and T.S. Parshikov (Barnaul).
More than 120 scientists from 33 cities of Russia, as well as from Kazakhstan, China, Mongolia, Uzbekistan and Ukraine wished to participate in the symposium in person or in absentia. 113 reports were submitted for participation in the symposium. By the beginning of the symposium, a collection of scientific papers was published, which included 104 articles. More than 90 people took part in the work of the symposium, 43 reports were heard and discussed.

The Twenty-Second Symposium "INTEGRATION OF ARCHAEOLOGICAL AND ETHNOGRAPHIC RESEARCH " (Pavlodar (Republic of Kazakhstan, 2018)
The twenty-second Symposium worked from September 18 to 21, 2018 in Pavlodar (Republic of Kazakhstan) on the basis of the Margulan Center / Margulan Center of the Pavlodar State Pedagogical University thanks to the collaboration with our Kazakh colleagues. The organizers were the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of the SB RAS represented by the Omsk Laboratory of Archeology, Ethnography and Museology, the Omsk Scientific Center of the SB RAS, Dostoevsky  Omsk State University, Pavlograd State Pedagogical University represented by Margulancentre.
The chairmen of the organizing committee of the international scientific symposium were: from the Russian side, d.h.s. N.A. Tomilov, Head of the Department of Ethnology, Anthropology, Archeology and Museology, Dostoevsky Omsk State University.  from the Kazakh side - Doctor of Chemical Sciences. Alynbek Nukhuly, rector of the Pavlograd State Pedagogical University.
The preliminary organization of work (collection of applications, articles, their editing, preparation of a collection of scientific papers, and its publication electronically) was undertaken by Omsk scientists - representatives of the organizing committee of the international symposium (co-chairman of the organizing committee, Ph.D. M.A. Korusenko, deputy chairmen of the organizing committee Ph.D. S.S. Tikhonov, Ph.D. S.N. Korusenko, scientific secretary Ph.D. Yu.V. Gerasimov, secretary E.A. Koptyaev). The collection of scientific papers of the international scientific symposium was released after the completion of the scientific event thanks to the financial support of the Laboratory of Historical and Cultural Expertise of the Omsk Scientific Center of the SB RAS (head, Ph.D. M.A. Korusenko).
It should be noted that the work of the Omsk part of the organizing committee was significantly facilitated thanks to the website of the international scientific symposium, hosted on the network resource of the Institute of Computational Technologies of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Novosibirsk), with which the Omsk research group has long-standing partnerships. The resource of the information system "Conference" (http://www.conf.nsc.ru) contains user-friendly and advanced tools for information support of the work of the organizing committee of a scientific event.
All activities related to the actual holding of the symposium were undertaken by the Kazakh part of the organizing committee (Deputy Chairman T.N. Smagulov, director of the Margulancentre, scientific secretary E.K. Abeuova, secretary G.T. Dzhaldoksimova and our other colleagues are employees of the Margulancentre of the Pavlograd State Pedagogical University).
In total, 70 applications from scientists from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Italy were submitted to the symposium. The program of the scientific event included 59 reports, about 30 scientists personally spoke at the symposium. «The main topic of the symposium was "Ethnoarchaeology of North and Central Asia: results and prospects"
